Donations

Donations for specific occasions

Wish a donation

A festive day is coming up – perhaps your birthday, your wedding or an anniversary – and you’re looking for a meaningful gift. More and more people are choosing to ask their guests for donations instead of gifts. Maybe this would be the right thing for you too? In this way, you could also do something good for other people on the occasion of your festive day.

This is how it works:

  1. Select your desired project on our project page.
  2. Contact us to arrange a suitable password and make further arrangements. We will also be happy to send you the relevant information material.
  3. Let your guests know about your wish to donate when you invite them to the event.
  4. There are two options for the donation process:
4.1 Your guests transfer their donation directly to us:

    Liga Bank eG
    IBAN DE10 7509 0300 0000 0589 20
    BIC GENODEF1M05
4.2 The guests hand over the money gift to you personally or you set up a donation box and lay out a list for this purpose, in which each donor enters his or her data. You can then transfer the collected amount to us.

At the request of individual donors, we can issue a donation receipt. For this purpose, please inform us of their name and address as well as the respective donation amount.

Give away a donation

Giving a gift is a joy, but it is not always easy to actually meet a heartfelt wish of the recipient. Don’t you want to try it with the gift of a donation for a good cause? That is certainly a surprise! At the same time, you are making a difference in the world.

This is how it works:

  1. Select an appropriate gift on our project page.
  2. Click on „Donate now“.
  3. Fill out the donation form with the necessary information.
  4. Write the name of the recipient in the „Message“ field.
  5. 5. Mark (or let us know) if you would like a donation certificate. We will be happy to send it to you by e-mail. You can then print this certificate and give it to the celebrant when you congratulate them, or forward it via email if you are unable to attend the celebration in person. We can issue a donation receipt to donors. For this purpose, please inform us of their name and address as well as the respective donation amount.

Donations in case of bereavement

The loss of a loved one is painful. At the funeral, we like to say goodbye to the deceased with flowers and wreaths, expressing our appreciation for him or her. However, many relatives now ask for a donation to a good cause instead of flowers. In this way, the farewell to a loved one is combined with a sign of hope and life for people in need.

If you would like to request donations for a project of the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary on the occasion of a funeral in the name of the deceased, you can select a suitable project on our donations page. Please inform us so that we can arrange a password with you and thus correctly allocate all donations that we receive on the occasion of the funeral service.

You can also give the account information and password for the transfers to the funeral director so they can include this information in the obituary or cover letter.

Upon request, we will be happy to issue a donation receipt to donors who wish to do so and whose addresses are available to us.

Mass Scholarships

In the Catholic Church, it is possible to have a Mass celebrated in a special intention, for example, for deceased or sick relatives, as a request for assistance in a concrete emergency or in thanksgiving for help experienced. It is customary to give a donation for this, the so-called „Mass stipend“.
In poorer countries, Mass stipends are often the only source of income for priests. Most of them also use them to finance part of their pastoral activities.
With a Mass stipend you can bring your intentions before God and at the same time help secure the livelihood and pastoral work of a priest.
As the mission center, we forward your Mass stipends to our local sisters (for example, in Burundi, Brazil or Chile), who then pass them on to the priests in their area.
The amount of the Mass stipend is at your own discretion. It is a free gift, but if possible it should not be less than 5 euros.

You can use our donation form to transfer your mass scholarship online. There you will also find our bank details.

Mess-Stipendien

Stamps

Collecting stamps is still worthwhile today!
Cut out postmarked stamps with a border and send them to us. We also gladly accept entire stamp collections. The proceeds after resale go to our mission work.

If you would like to send us the stamps by mail, it makes sense to collect a larger quantity first to make it worthwhile to send them. We thank you very much for doing so.
